Get ready for the most extraordinary bicycle adventure ever launched in the City of Davis. On Sunday, October 3, 2010, the citizens and friends of Davis will pedal through history to set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Single Line of Bicycles.
Davis, CA is the City of Bicycles and it is fitting that we should own the World Record.
As we set the record for most bicycles in a single line, we’ll also use our bikes as a vehicle to raise money for our cash-strapped Davis Schools. By helping break the Guinness World Record, we will be
doing your part to
help save our schools. All proceeds from this event will go to the Davis Schools Foundation.
Through your participation, the generosity of our sponsors, the efforts of the Davis Odd Fellows, and hundreds of volunteers, we will provide major support for those that make this community great, our children and our schools.
This event would not be complete without celebrating our efforts and our community. The highlight of this event will be an extraordinarily fun day for the family in Central Park; a festival that complements the World's Greatest Bicycle Parade. The Festival at Central Park will be complete with food, drink, and entertainment. A fun celebration for all ages.
Make no mistake about it, this is a huge community effort and we need your help. Go to our rules page to see what it takes to help make our mark in the record book. Then visit our registration page and sign-up to be in the Largest Parade of Bicycles and be a part of history.
This event could not be made possible without the generosity and support of our sponsors.
